We collect as little as possible and tell you the truth about it. This policy explains how we handle data related to you when you use Koutuxia (koutuxia.com). This policy may change; the latest version on the site governs.
How images are processed (important)
Free background removal, recoloring, compression, resizing, and format conversion run locally in your browser, so those images are not uploaded to this site. Pro cloud features such as Magic Eraser, HD background removal, and upscaling first upload the input to private Supabase storage; Magic Eraser also uploads the mask you draw. Time-limited signed URLs are then sent to Replicate for processing. This site requests deletion of those inputs when a job settles or fails. A daily fallback also cleans up inputs and masks left by finished jobs, reservations older than 24 hours, and uploads without a matching job record. Because it runs daily, remnants older than 24 hours are normally removed on the next cleanup. Replicate handles its copy under its own privacy and retention policy. After a successful Magic Eraser job, the result is normally copied to this site's private Supabase storage and served through a time-limited signed URL; if that copy fails, the time-limited result URL from Replicate is used instead. Recent jobs are shown for 24 hours, and the daily task may remove privately stored results about 24 to 48 hours after creation. We do not use these images for training. The job ledger retains technical records such as task type, status, duration, and an external result URL or private storage path for metering, recovery, and troubleshooting.
Account information
If you create an account, we store your email for sign-in, usage tracking, and account management. Anonymous use requires no personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
Usage & rate-limiting data
To meter signed-in cloud features, prevent abuse, and recover unfinished jobs, we record limited technical data such as job type, status, usage count, and time. Free local tools are not metered per image.
Payment information
Pro one-time plans and recurring subscriptions are processed by Paddle or LemonSqueezy as payment providers and Merchants of Record. Paddle offers one-time WeChat Pay / Alipay plans and an Alipay auto-renewing plan; LemonSqueezy offers card / PayPal subscriptions. The applicable provider handles payment credentials; this site never receives or stores complete card or payment-account credentials.
Third-party services
We use the following third parties to provide features: AI image processing by Replicate; high-quality repair uses a Black Forest Labs model through Replicate; accounts and sign-in by Supabase; website hosting and visit analytics by Vercel (including Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights). Their respective privacy terms apply to data they process. We do not embed third-party advertising or tracking scripts such as Baidu Tongji or Google Analytics (the site only carries a search-engine site-verification tag, which is not a tracker).
Cookies
We use essential cookies to remember your interface language and keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies.
